Technical issues ended Rockingham early for the Lotus Sport UK team in the latest round of the Avon Tyres British GT series.
Optimum Motorsport and Lotus Sport UK shared the honour of topping the free practice timesheets this morning at the Nürburgring, as eight cars representing four different marques battled it out ahead of this evening’s qualifying sessions.

Lotus Sport UK has signed Sailesh Bolisetti to race in the 2012 Avon Tyres British GT Championship. The 23-year-old from Visakhapatnum, on the east coast of India, will race the Lotus Evora GT4 which took three wins last year, the team’s maiden season.
