The 2015 Lotus Cup Europe provisional calendar has been released, and the FIA International Series will visit Germany, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom in a championship that will visit seven of the continent’s best circuits.
The calendar includes several prestigious meetings, starting with the Jim Clark Revival weekend at Hockenheim in April. The championship then heads to France, first at Dijon-Prenois, then Magny-Cours, with both events taking place in May.
Lotus Cup Europe will once again support the Fun Cup 25 Hour and British GT Championship at Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps in July. The following month the championship will join its UK counterparts at the annual Brands Hatch Lotus Festival.

Belgian Gregory Rasse took a double victory in the final rounds of the 2014 Lotus Cup Europe season at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit on Sunday 26 October, as Frenchman Jeremy Lourenço claimed the overall championship.
Rasse looked set for a duel with Englishman Jonathan Walker for the race victories, with Walker's V6 Exige taking pole position at the French circuit in damp conditions. However, the Evora driver proved to be quicker in the races, whilst Walker was overhauled by the Exiges of Nikolaj Ipsen and Philippe Loup in both encounters.

Adam Gore heads to the LoTRDC finals day at Snetterton next month (1 November) chasing a title double, having already secured the inaugural Elise Trophy championship.
Gore has led the Elise Trophy standings all year and sealed the title at last month’s Donington rounds with a brace of victories. Chief rival Fulvio Mussi has been unable to complete the season, leaving Craig Denman and Jason Baker to take up the challenge, but despite podium finishes, both are now unable to overhaul Gore’s total.

Adam Knight and Adam Gore celebrated Lotus Cup UK title success at Snetterton over Hallowe’en weekend, when the championship was decided with a two-hour night race offering double points.
Poleman Fabio Randaccio’s Europa retired from the lead of the race near the end of the first hour, and with Adrian Hall still playing catch-up from earlier issues when the first batch of points were awarded, this left Knight running second to Marcus Jewell. With closest SuperSport challenger Simon Deacon only 21st after electrical issues dropped him from second place, things were looking good for Exige V6 Cup R driver Knight.

Xavier Brooke has claimed the inaugural Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship after a string of unbeatable performances throughout the 2014 season. Brooke rivals Rob Clark and David Mann after a year-long fight in the sprint series.
Aimed at rookie competitors, the Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship consists of several rounds taking place at a combination of race circuits and airfields. Each driver completes a set of solo runs timed by electronic equipment accurate to 100th of a second, with the winner recording the best time of the day. Road-going cars can participate in sprinting and drivers can compete without roll cages, fire extinguishers and harnesses.
