Lotus is re-establishing itself in single-seaters through the Lotus F1 Team and multiple IndyCar teams, and also the junior levels. We have exciting GT and prototype programmes, which has seen the marque return to Le Mans. We are the only car manufacturer to field its own go-kart team, giving young superstars a foot on the ladder. Now that the fabulous GT category has returned, we have built the shockingly fast Exige R-GT for the purpose. Lotus Racing is everywhere.
Our works driver line-up includes world champions, but we also run customer programmes. The Lotus Driving Academy will make you a faster, stronger, safer driver and show you a great time. The Lotus Cup Series, which has competitions around the globe is open to all current range Lotus road car owners. Ever popular, the series continues to grow with more races and venues for 2012. And then there’s the Type 125, our most exciting customer car ever. Get to grips with a V8-powered single-seater, and imagine you’ve graduated to F1.
Opened in 2011, the revised Hethel Test Track is the perfect proving ground, driver development track, corporate event venue, and Lotus-tailored race circuit. We host lots of programmes here that you can get involved in throughout the year.
