Complete with a Cosworth engine and weighing just 1190 kg, the Evora GTE has been designed for GT2 and international endurance series around the globe. Developed under the expert eye of lead designer Nicola Scimeca, the car proved its reliability and competitiveness during the inaugural competition, the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours.
The Lotus Evora GTE is a race car developed with a single minded aim to be successful in the new global motorsport GTE category, which includes the world famous Le Mans 24 Hours.
To celebrate this ground breaking car, Lotus has built a limited number of GTE road cars representing the most powerful Lotus road cars ever built.
Producing over 444 PS from the race developed Lotus Evora GTE engine, fed through a sequential AMT racing gearbox. Transferring this power to the road, are lightweight, forged alloy rims with centre lock hubs shod with Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tyres.
Race cars are built purely for speed, at the expense of any concession to comfort. This Evora GTE roadcar is different – under the skin is a pure race car but the driver is cocooned in a stunning, modern race themed interior, where leather and carbon fibre dominate.
Lightweight Recaro carbon fibre seats clasp both the passenger and driver; the driver taking command of the car, through a lightweight forged magnesium rimmed race specification steering wheel.
This is a car that is not just a paint scheme, or a homage to a race car, this is a serious race car that is a serious road car too.
