Describe your job in a single sentence:
Managing an automotive engineering consultancy business.
What was the best moment of your career so far?
My current job – it’s like finally being able to drive a sports car after years of only being able to work on them.
What's your best memory of Lotus?
I’ve been with Lotus for years so there are many… I guess the first time my first engine was fired up.
Describe Lotus in a word:
What's the most fun you've ever had in a car?
Driving my uncle’s Aston Martin DB6 when I was 17 – when he was in Tehran on business. Uncle Ken, if you’re reading this, I’m sorry.
What's the best road you've ever driven on?
The mountain roads along the Amalfi coast. Though the road to the factory from Wymondham provides great entertainment on a daily basis – I’ve often wondered if the local roads were a reason why Colin Chapman moved to Norfolk.
What's your favourite colour in the Lotus colour chart?
Anything the GTE comes in.
What's your driving song of choice?
The BBC Grand Prix theme – Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain – takes some beating.
