After moving from the warmer climate of Georgia to the much colder state of Michigan, I realized I would rather have a daily driver for the cold months and then buy a fun car for the summer. It was then I recalled the time I looked at a used Elise while working as an intern in Georgia. At the time, I didn’t have the money to buy it, but I never forgot that car and how amazing it was just sitting in it.

So, years later, with the means to acquire one, I was on the hunt again for that amazing little car. I searched every corner of the US and sure enough, I found a nice one – and in where else, but back in Georgia. After a friend looked the car over for me, I was going to take the weekend to think it over before presenting my offer. On that Sunday, I did another quick search and was surprised to find a low mileage example had just been listed on consignment at a dealership only 45 minutes from my home.

On Monday, I was at that dealership’s showroom door the minute they opened. After inspecting the car and taking it for a test drive, I knew this was the car for me. I researched its history and found it was a two-owner car with a clean VIN history. A deal was quickly made and the following weekend the car was mine. It has been a joy owning this car and sharing it with others.

My favorite roads? There are so many, but one of my most memorable was driving Route 74 along the Nantahala River in North Carolina.
