Lotus Elan Plus 2s (type 50) in original carnival red. First registered in November 1970 it is pretty much in original condition except for the sunroof and and different steering wheel. I bought the car in the UK and have now exported it to Madrid Spain.

This particular Lotus is everything the original Elan was all about, even in the plus two configuration. It is light, nippy and great fun round winding roads. The sound from the 1600 cc twin carb engine is just not heard today and the suspension and handling is as good as many new cars today. For all that, it is surprisingly comfortable and more than capable of cruising on motorways too.

My favourite driving road? Pretty much any in this car, although I do particularly enjoy the road across the Madrid sierra from Cercedilla to Segovia
